Top Ten Family Days Out!

Everyone loves family trips out and now that the children have broken up it is the perfect time to pack up the car and head out for a day of fun. The days are long and the sun will defiantly be shining, so where to go? Well I am going to suggest ten great family days out so that when your kids get bored of being home you can take them somewhere new and exciting.
Alton towers – a great theme park and if you haven’t been before this is a must do.  Alton tower has something for the whole family with many kids’ rides; they can even visit Charlie and the chocolate factory. With a spa, extraordinary golf and a water park no one will want to leave at the end of the day!
West Midlands Safari and Leisure Park – Who doesn’t love going to the safari park? With the 4 mile car trail, walk through discovery trail and rides there is plenty to see and if that is not enough there are even baby meerkat’s to see.
Cotswold Water Park – a fab way to enter the great outdoors. With camping, walking, sailing, farm visits, water skiing, bird watching, canoeing and golf you won’t be spending a minute indoors.
The Big chill – this family orientated music festival is held over the weekend. You can relax in the sun while listening to some top artists. But don’t worry you will be able to sleep peacefully in the family camping area! (Hereford)

Green Frog Pottery – come and paint your own design on a piece of pottery. From mugs, plates and bowls, money boxes, treasure boxes, animals, cupcakes, dragons, pirates, aliens, fairies, princesses there is something for everyone. (Malvern)
King Standing Leisure Centre – water flumes and wave machine are a big hit with kids of all ages so leave them to splash away while you relax having a nice coffee in the onsite cafe. (Birmingham)
Little Acorns Indoor Play – let you children release all their energy in this padded play area. With three tiers there are plenty of spaces to discover and hide in. After a few hours they will defiantly be ready for bed. (Worcester)

Forge Mill Farm – a great educational day out at a working dairy farm. The kids will be shown how their milk that they have every morning on their cereal is made, (West Bromwich).
Museum of Mazes - This unusual museum is great fun for the younger kids and for the adults. The kids can play traditional games such as hide and seek,  sardines,  peep ho, tag, and they can have a water pistol fight all whilst darting around the mazes at the wonderful museum of mazes. (Ross-on-wye)
